Funerary tower.

Chuño
Potato frozen and sun-dried.

Cist
A cell or pit, generally in the ground where the remains of the dead were put.

Coya
The wife of the Inca. Queen, very high-ranking woman.

Curaca
Ethnic chief, principal lord of a people.

Cyclopean
Made with enormous stones without mortar. Gigantic.

Gorget
Ruff, neck ornament.

Hornacina
Hole or hollow bored in a wall where generally a religious image or a decorative object is placed.

Incawasi
The house of the Inca.

Inti
The sun.

Isodomon
Sedimentary type layout where the hewn stones are of the same shape and dimensions and are laid in lines of equal height.

Jamb
Either of the two vertical pieces that, placed on the two sides of doors or windows, sustain the lintel or arch.
