Lord, high dignitary, deified mountain.

Aqlla
Woman chosen to serve in the aqllawasis.

Aqllawasi
House of chosen women. The place where they worked making textiles and chicha (corn beer).

Atrium
Enclosed space that served to access some temples or palaces. Room like a vestibule at the entrance to a house.

Audience
Act of hearing persons who present themselves before them, performed by sovereigns or other authorities.

Awaska
Coarse cloth used to make clothes for common people. Garment made of coarse wool.

Bolt
Bar or crossbar of metal or wood with which a door is fastened or locked, after closing the shutter or doors.

Camayuq
Person or persons in charge, such as of an extensive farm or plot for cultivation or entrusted with a responsibility, such as organizing the supply of food to a place.
